Strategy & Crisis

Knowing what to say and when to say it is an art.

Crafting a thorough strategic communications plan—whether for a crisis, a merger, or a change in leadership—means considering not only the possible outcomes but also preparing for unexpected twists along the way.

Strategy

For over thirty years, Carlton Communications has honed its experience by staying strong under pressure and employing a direct, consistently clear communication style. With a focus on process improvement, Carlton Communications has guided leaders through various communication challenges, both big and small, including helping employees navigate a financial crisis with focused calm, and launching a countywide social change marketing campaign during a pandemic.

Carlton Communications can assist in managing individual and organizational reputations during difficult times, led community events and convenings, served as a spokesperson (for and nonprofit), and am a trusted messenger internally and to the public for each organization I have been a part of. While being supported and guided, I was the leader that was needed, and I am proud of my own reputation in this area.

Crisis

In a crisis, things become serious quickly, leaving no time for adequate planning, messaging, and notification in the moment. Change in leadership? Missed earnings? Merging or being acquired? Facing an issue that may affect public trust (illegal activity, personal scandal)? Carlton Communications has you covered.

In a crisis, time is generally not a friend. Being prepared ahead of time is its own reward, and Carlton Communication can help plan for the expected and the unexpected.
